David Michael Bair Obituary

David Michael Bair, 51, of Leesport, passed away at 4:53 PM, Thursday, September 8th, peacefully, at his residence. 


The husband of Debra Louise (Boyer) Bair, David was born in Reading, PA on June 6, 1965, a son of Geraldine (Klick) Bair, of Reading, PA and the late Robert Bair.


A member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church Reading, David served in the U.S. Marines as a Corporal in Libya and later worked as a Fork Lift Driver at Niagara Water Hamburg, Pa., for 3 months last working on Thursday.  He enjoyed golfing and bowling.


He is survived by His mother, Gerladine, his wife, Debra, 2 daughters Kellee L, wife of  Philip Cassler, of Hamburg, Pa., and  Bryanna O Bair, of Leesport.


He is also survived by 3 sisters Jolyn, wife of Gary Church, of Bethlehem, PA; Stacey, wife of Jeff Angelini, of Edgewood, MD; Lisa Schlegel, fiancé of Joel Boyer, of Reading, PA;  a sister-in-law Virginia M. Boyer, of Leesport, PA; a brother-in-law Steven Michael Boyer, husband of Lynda of Louisianna; 4 nephews, Steven Michael Boyer, Jr., husband of Kayla of Showmakersville, PA;  Robert Reitz III, husband of Shelby, of Temple, PA; Todd Boyer of Reading and Christopher Reitz, husband of Noelle of Reading, PA; also 2 nieces Seanna M Boyer, fiancé of Chris Biondo, of Reading, PA;  and Mackenzie Schlegel or Reading, PA.


He is survived by 1 grandchild, Paige Cassler, who he referred to lovingly as Monster Mash, and numerous Aunts and Uncles.  


Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Monday evening from 6-8 PM  at Feeney Funeral Home. A Military Honor service will be held at 7 PM, and a prayer service at 8 PM Monday.


Friends may also gather from 10-10:30 AM on Tuesday for the funeral procession to Charles Evans Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Making a Difference 2412 Spring St West Lawn, PA 19609.
