David Hardinger, 86, of Temple, PA passed away Monday, April 10th, at the Lutheran Home at Topton,
David was born in Reading, PA on November 17, 1936, a son of the late Elsie (Rudolph) and Raymond Hardinger. He was the husband of Dolores M (Rotkiske) Hardinger who he spent 67 years of marriage with..
A graduate of Reading High, class of 1954, He served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist in the Korean War Era and was employed as a Design Engineer at Buy Rite Equipment Co. until his retirement. He was previously employed by other local firms.
In addition to his wife, Dolores, David is survived by a son,Bryan D Hardinger, husband of Kathleen, of Temple; also survived by Grandson Brandon Hardinger and his significant other Jodie Borrell of Temple, a granddaughter, Breanne Hardinger, of Laureldale; Great grandchildren Elizabella, and London of Laureldale and step grandchildren Jaime and Kolleen Goda of Temple, and a sister, Dolores Nawa, of San Pedro, CA and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Geraldine Golden in 2019.
The family would like to thank the Lebanon VA, Berks VA and Topton Lutheran Home for their help and kindness.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Guardian Angel RC Church on Saturday April 15th at 11Am. A visitation with family will be from 10:30 am until time of service at the church. Mausoleum Encryptment follows at Gethsemane Cemetery Reading, PA with full US Army honors.
