David Diezel Obituary
David L. Diezel, 93, of Bern Township, passed away Wednesday, February 21st, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
David was born in Shamokin on November 19, 1930, a son of the late Elda (Drumheiser) and Louis Diezel and was the husband of 71 years of Janet A. (Reed) Diezel, of Bern Township.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a MR 3 in the Korean War and worked as a tool repairman at Dana for 30 years retiring in 1995. David loved Penn State Football.
David is survived by his three sons, Michael R. Diezel, husband of Denise, of Exeter; Gary L. Diezel, husband of Michelle, of Florida; Danny A .Diezel, widower of Pattie, of Muhlenberg, and seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Melanie, Brianna, Chevy, Brady and Nicholas. Also many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Viewing will be Tuesday, February 27th from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Religious service will follow at 9:30 AM with Pastor Gary Rarick of Eplers UCC Church officiating. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Procession will leave funeral home promptly at 10 AM.
