Charlotte L. Eckert, 78, of Reading, passed away Friday, July 30th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading. Charlotte was born in Reading on April 17, 1943, a daughter of the late Sadie E. (Nittinger) and Samuel I. Eckert. She worked as a Customer Service Representative at Volkswagen of Reading. Charlotte is survived by her sister, Shirley Cirulli and many loving nieces and nephews along with her close friends, Linda Landell and Jennifer Landell Bezts. She was predeceased by her sister, Fern and brothers, Bill, Lloyd, Donald, Earl and Art. She will be missed by all! "Honey" enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing, camping, farmers markets, day trips to just about everywhere, vacations at the Delaware shore and listening to her favorite "Oldies." Viewing will be Thursday, August 5th from 9 to 10 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. Religious service will follow at 10 AM. Interment at Schwarzwald Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donation in her memory to VRC Berks County Association for the Blind 2020 Hampden Blvd., Reading, PA 19604. Arrangements entrusted to John P.
