Charles Thamarus Obituary
Charles R. Thamarus, 80, formerly of Leesport, passed away Saturday, July 1st, at Genesis Nursing and Rehab Center, Sinking Spring.
Charles was born in Palmerton on December 11, 1942, a son of the late Ethel Viola (Bossert) and Charles J. Thamarus.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt in the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Reber Moore Post #635 Shillington. Charles worked in Retail Management, retiring in 2010.
Charles is survived by his niece, Alice Deck, of Leesport.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Lehighton Cemetery.
