Charles D., Stetler, 72, of Reading, passed away Sunday, August 14th, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading.
Charles was born in Pottstown, PA on January 9, 1950, a son of the late Helen and Charles D. Stetler.
He was the husband of Deborah K. (Ritschard) Stetler, who survives him.
He graduated from Pottsgrove High School, Class of 1968 and then served in the U.S. Marines as a Sgt in the Vietnam War. He later worked as a Security Guard at Yuasa Batteries for 28 years retiring in 2019.
Charles was an avid fan of both the Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles
In addition to his wife, Deborah, Charles is survived by a daughter, Toni, wife of Michael Altieri, of Norristown, PA; three sons David Stetler, husband of Adrienne, of Royersford, PA; Christopher Sawicki, Husband of Vicki, of New Holland, PA; Charles Stetler, widower of Jennifer Stetler, of Reading, PA;
a step daughter, Ammy, wife of Ray Ramsey, of Pittsfield, NH; and a step son, Jason Weber, of Reading, PA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
Visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM on Saturday, August 20th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA Religious Service at 11 AM
Interment and Military Salute by the US Marine Corps Honor Guard at Berks County Memorial Gardens at 12 Noon..
