Carole Ann (Slater) Hafer


Carole Ann Hafer, 73, of Exeter Township passed away Thursday, January 18th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading. 


The wife of Jackson G. Hafer, who survived her, Carole was born in Reading,  on February 13, 1944, a daughter of the late Anna Mae (Reichardt) and Chester Slater.


She was self Employed at Carole Hafer Cosmetics & Hair Styling for 23 years retiring on 2000. 


In addition to her husband, Jack, Carole is survived by a daughter, Lori Hafer Quaintance, of Reading and by 2 grandchildren, Alex and Daniel Quaintance

and by a brother, Norman Slater, of Reading. She was predeceased by 2 brothers William and Donald Slater


Services are private at the convenience of the family with Entombment in Laureldale Cemetery.
