Carole A Young passed away suddenly in the Mifflin Center. Previously lived in Berks Leisure Living and Muhlenberg Riverview Park.

Predeceased by her husband Bruce R. Young who passed away October 2016.

A 1951 graduate of Reading High School.

She worked with the Easter Seals of Berks County. Enjoyed teaching sign language to deaf children.

She enjoyed going to the Reading Buccaneer’s shows and events with her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda L., wife of Michael K. Garman, of Hamburg, Pa, and a son, Jeffrey B Young, husband of Kim E. Young, of Sinking Spring, Pa. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Shirley L. Kohl, Temple, Pa.

Carole chose not to have a funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Reading Buccaneer Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps. c/o Dino Myers 792 Franklyn Drive Dallastown, Pa 17313.
