Carlene Conrad Obituary

Carlene G. Conrad, 99, of Reading, passed away Monday, February 11th, at Berkshire Center, Exeter Twp.
Carlene was born in Harrisburg on April 22, 1919, a daughter of the late Annie (Siefried) and Edward C. Hilliar and was the widow of Milburn W. Conrad.


She was a graduate of Reading High School and a member of St. Luke's Luthern Church, Reading. She was employed as the office manager at Teamsters Local 429, Reading.


Carlene is survived by her daughter, Judith Akemon, wife of Sherill, of Hyattsville, MD and sister in law, Barbara Lesher, wife of Leon, of Severn, MD.


Services are private at the convenience of family. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Luke's Luthern Church, 449 N. 9th St., Reading, PA 19601.
