Bernadette Alexander, 62, of Reading, PA passed away Thursday, December 17th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, PA.
Bernadette was born in Reading, PA on March 16, 1958, a daughter of the late Hedwig (Ostrowski) Alexander and Frank P. Alexander.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church Reading, PA 19602 and worked in Production for the Washington Post
She is survived by her partner, Paul Dean, and her caregiver and friend, Mimi Cruz.
Bernadette is also survived by two sisters, Ann Deisher, (husband Dennis), of Kutztown, PA ; Donna Alexander, of Reading, PA; a Brother Frank J. Alexander (wife Cindy) of Blandon, PA. And a niece, Julie Konik (wife Christine Smith), Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
She was predeceased by a sister Catharine A. Konik.
Services will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Animal Rescue League PO Box 69 Mohnton, PA 19540.
