Barry F. Frederick, age 68 years, of Reading, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Barry was born in Pottstown on Feb. 7, 1946, a son of the late Isabella (Ulshafer) and Wilmer Frederick.
He was a 1964 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School and served in the Air Force as a Sergeant from 1966 to 1969. He worked as a press operator at DANA Corp., Reading. He was also a member of Pike Township Rod and Gun Club.
Barry is survived by his daughter, Kimberly M. Frederick, of Upper Darby; son, Brian S. Frederick, of Reading; two sisters, Darlene Cooper, of Douglassville; Sharry Wilson, of Reading and brother, Randy S. Frederick, of Pottstown. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Leni Snead, of Upper Darby and Zachary Frederick, of Hamburg.
Memorial service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, Kutztown, PA 19530. Interment private at the convenience of the family.
