Albert "Ted" Whitehead, Jr. Obituary

Albert T. "Ted" Whitehead Jr., 81, of Fleetwood, PA passed away Tuesday, May 27th, at Complete Care at Berkshire Center, Reading, Berks County. Albert was born in Reading on December 24, 1943, a son of the late Mildred I. (Miller) and Albert T. Whitehead Sr. and was the husband of Diane (Kistler) Whitehead, who survives him. He was a member of Schwartzwald Lutheran Church and was also active in Grace Lutheran Church, Reading where he was in the church council and a youth group leader. He was also active with St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher for the 7th and 8th grades. Ted served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and worked as an Industrial Electrician at Kawecki Berylco for over 30 years, retiring in 2014. He was a Treasurer and President for Berylco Credit Union and also drove a school bus for the Kutztown School District. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd at 10 AM followed by a religious service at 12 PM at the John P. Feeney Funeral Home in Reading. Interment at Indiantown Gap on Thursday, June 5th at 2 PM. Procession will leave funeral home promptly at 12:30 PM on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Veteran's Making a Difference, 2412 Spring St., West Lawn, PA 19609. Arrangements entrusted to John P.
