Albert Bowers Obituary

Albert was born in Reading on December 21, 1934, a son of Ethel M. (Bowers) and John B. Dolan. Albert was a United States Marine serving in Artillery, Armorer, and finished as Military Police (MP). He was also a retired Lieutenant of the Reading Police Department, a Past President of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 9 and a Past President of the Democratic Club in Reading.

Predeceased by his wife Jacklyn D. (Templin) Bowers. Predeceased by his daughter, Pamela S. Colglazier, wife of Larry, of Salem, IN. Albert is survived by his children John L Bowers, of Casa Grande, Arizona; Daphne Dee Miller (Bowers), of Dauphin County, PA; Lizbeth F. Kulak (Piontek), Spring Twp., PA; Jeffrey M. Piontek, husband of Kelly, of Maidencreek Twp., PA; Stephen F. Piontek, husband of Tracey, of Temple, PA. He is survived by his grandchildren Alec, Ashley, Benjamin, Bryan, Corrine, Jennifer, Joshua, Katlynn, Macy, Michael, Olivia, and Rachel, and seventeen great grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving grand-dog Toby. In addition, he is survived by his sibling Raymond Albert Lee, husband of Deborah Lynn Lee, of NH. He is predeceased by his other siblings Joseph Lee Jr., and Robert Norwood Lee.

Family and friends are invited to gather, Thursday, February 1st from 10 to 11 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. Interment with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at 12:30 PM.
