Adrienne Bass, age 54 years, of Reading, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 27th.
Adrienne was born in Reading on October 25, 1961, to the late Lois and John Bass.
She graduated from Reading High School in 1979. She was an active member of St. James Chapel, Church of God In Christ, Reading PA, serving as Executive Secretary, Pastor's Aide, Usher and a member of the choir. She was also a member of the former Reading Community Choir.
She is survived by her sister, Karen L. Laday, husband Tony, of Dallas, TX: aunt, Lorraine Godbee, of Reading, PA: uncles, Lowell Jenkins, of Hagerstown, MD, and Larry Jenkins, of Reading, PA: cousins: Lenny Jenkins, wife Sandra, of Allentown; Lealer Jenkins, companion Stephen Hill, of Reading, PA; and Eric Jenkins, of Pottsville PA.
Adrienne is also survived by nephews, Michael and Grant Laday, and many loving family members.
Friends are invited to the viewing on Monday, February 1st, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Feeney Funeral Home, 625 N. 4th St. at Centre Ave., Reading, PA. Services will be held Tuesday, February 2nd, with a viewing at 11 a.m. and formal service at 12 p.m. Services will be held at St. James Chapel Church of God In Christ, 11 S. 9th St., Reading, PA. Internment at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
